WRAP Fund

The Western Region Audiovisual Producers Fund (WRAP Fund) is a regional fund for the West of Ireland that provides production and development investment for feature film, television drama, animation and games.

The WRAP Fund of €2,000,000 is available from 2017-2020 and aims to generate economic impact, support local talent, create sustainable employment, build the audio-visual infrastructure and contribute to the culture of the Region.

In addition to the WRAP Fund and other funding in Ireland, eligible projects which undertake production in the Region can avail of the tax credit of up to 37% from 2019 onwards.

The WRAP Fund is an initiative of the Western Development Commission and Galway Film Centre in association with the local authorities of Clare, Donegal, Galway City, Galway County, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo and Údurás na Gaeltachta.
