Vestnorsk Filmsenter


Vestnorsk filmsenter – (Western Norway Film Centre) was established in 1995 as an independent regional film Centre on the West Cost of Norway. We provide grants for development and production of shorts and documentaries as well as grants for developing feature length films and series on all platforms. The Centre work for the Industry true travel grants, workshops, master classes and skills development programs for professionals in the region, and houses script development schemes for feature films and series. Funding is, mainly, given to production companies based in the region, and to projects that draw on regional talents and resources. International productions are required to have a regional co-producer.

Selection criteria: Artistic quality and effect for the local industry.

Cine-Regio representative - Ms. Stine Tveten


Stine Tveten (b 1961) has been CEO at Vestnorsk filmsenter since 2013. She came to Vestnorsk filmsenter in 2009 working with administration and projects developing the industry. She has experience from the cultural sector, working among other with Cinema and different film festivals in Norway.
