Consorcio Audiovisual de Galicia

The task of the Consorcio Audiovisual de Galicia is to administrate the actions taken to support the audiovisual industry in Galicia. To promote and develop the Galician the audiovisual production and the industry, the Consorcio Audiovisual de Galicia operates in the following fields:
*To promote the Galician cinematic and audiovisual production and industry.
*To promote and strengthen the professional activity and the creation of employment in the audiovisual sector.
*To induce the production and co-production, as well as distribution.
*To promote research, education and technical development in the audiovisual sector.
*To promote the use of the Galician language in the audiovisual medias.
*To spread the Galician audiovisual works in the region, in Spain, in the EU and in all areas where there is an existing Galician community.
*To promote a better knowledge of the history, the art, the literature, the music and the social and cultural environment in Galicia, through Galician films and audiovisual productions.
